Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, great location and easy in n out around LSU

Had a great time staying here. Fantastic staff, so helpful, ready to address any issues that arise. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The homely touches were appreciated - down to the box of tissues. A great range of appliances including an iron. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay when visiting LSU! Easy walk to campus, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise (pancake machine ) not many hotels offer that anymore. The quality was solid, especially for an extended stay. Definitely not the Ritz-Carlton, but I’ll absolutely be staying here again!

Overall feel and stay here was that the staff takes pride in their service and work hard to do their best - front desk staff and breakfast staff. All were great! With that being said there are some things they can’t change - the building/rooms are older. Pros- 1. Breakfast was good - lots of variety, menu changed each day we were there. 2. Close to LSU and downtown area 3. Beds were very comfortable 4. Staff was amazing to us! 5. Bags of ice available downstairs (no fee) 6. Parking was easy (despite it saying otherwise in a different post-could depend on how busy the restaurants are) 7. Big bottles of hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner. Really liked this compared to the small bottles domes hotels offer. Cons 1. Room seemed like it was cleaned, but not freshened up prior to arrival - maybe it had been sitting empty for a while (which could have been because we asked for an upgrade when we checked in). It was pretty dusty in areas, toilet in one bathroom was dirty and the coffee machine had coffee in it from a prior guest. Housekeeping could be more attentive to these details. 2. We had a two bedroom suite and the door to the rooms are bi-fold closet doors - no locks and one gapped in the middle so that left little to no privacy in the room. Honest review for those that might be pickier than others. Hotel staff - you guys were awesome and I thank you for making our stay enjoyable despite the room mishaps.

Me and my family stayed over the weekend for LSU baseball. The rooms were nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay. There is even a daiquiri shop attached to this location where I was able to have me a drink, listen to nice music and walk back to my room. That is very convenient. Everyone was so nice. We will be back.

I don’t know, what makes a hotel 5 star. With only $142, I think this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in US. Most of the hotels here even with $500 dollars or more prices per night, do not have refrigerator or oven, no free wifi. I have very sensitive stomach and when I travel, it almost makes my stomach sick due to eating outside for every time. They have build in literally with every room, even have saucer pans and other cutlery to cook. Free wifi, spacious fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher. And the complementary breakfast buffet was also so good! It’s not very luxury looking, but very cozy with all the amenities. Definitely will try Sonesta from other places too.

Solid hotel adjacent to LSU campus and Tiger Stadium. Free breakfast included. Very convenient as parking is at a premium during football season and you can walk from the hotel.

Rooms are very clean, staff is polite, and in a good location. Highly recommend!
